Jammu, April 28 -- People's Democratic Party MLA Waheed Para on Monday emphasised the need for justice rather than holding talks with Pakistan in the aftermath of the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

Ahead of the special session in the J&K legislative assembly to address the attack, Para stated, "More importantly, justice should be done," when asked if talks with Pakistan on the matter should take place.

Para condemned the attack as a communal act aimed at dividing the people of Kashmir.

He further noted that this kind of resentment over the attack was seen in Kashmir after 30 years.
