New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh on Sunday endorsed the 'Voter Adhikar Rally', stating that the movement was against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s alleged conspiracy to deprive millions of voters of their voting rights through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise of the voter list in Bihar.
In a post on social media platform X, Ramesh described the movement as a "moral and constitutional battle" to protect democracy and uphold the sanctity of 'one person, one vote'.
