New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Monday emphasised the role of socio-economic factors in breeding extremism and terrorism.

According to Raut, hunger, poverty, and unemployment are the root causes of individuals turning to crime. He asserted that governments are responsible for creating an environment that fosters such behaviour.
