New Delhi, July 2 -- Congress MP Jairam Ramesh on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Narendra Modi government, accusing it of "wrecking the economy" over the past eleven years.

He cited Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data to claim that the country's debt burden had peaked, with every citizen now burdened with Rs 4.8 lakh of debt.
