Patna, Aug. 30 -- Janata Dal (United) leader Neeraj Kumar on Saturday condemned the alleged abusive remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother, slamming the constituent parties of Mahagathbandhan for not refuting the remarks.

"Whoever made such remarks was arrested. But the important question is, Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal and the constituent parties of the Mahagathbandhan did not even criticise this," Kumar told ANI.

"The Congress party did not expel that person. The differences will continue in politics, but if there is linguistic obscenity among ourselves and any party tolerates it, then it is certainly a matter of concern for democracy," he added.
