New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Supermicro, an American tech company is exploring local manufacturing opportunities as it looks to deepen its footprint in the Indian market. Vik Malyala, Managing Director & President, EMEA, at Supermicro stated that the company is closely monitoring the "Make in India" initiative to determine the most effective way to produce its technology locally.

He mentioned that the company is considering whether this will happen through its own facilities or through its partners. Malyala noted that the company is "carefully looking at that part of it to see what actually makes sense to make in India whether it's through us or through our partners."
