Guwahati, April 29 -- All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) General Secretary Rafiqul Islam stated on Tuesday that the party's primary objective is to ensure a corruption-free panchayat.

"Assam Panchayat Election 2025 is going to be held on 2nd and 7th May. We have released our party's manifesto. We have included our commitments in it. Our main agenda is to ensure a corruption-free panchayat. We have seen in the previous years, whether it is BJP or Congress, corruption was there in panchayats," Islam told reporters.
