Ahmedabad, April 9 -- Congress MP Syed Naseer Hussain on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that "appeasement" remarks made against the opposition parties were "lies and completely fake".

He said that the Prime Minister didn't answer the questions raised by the Congress and repeated what his party leaders had presented in the Parliament. Hussain questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) support of the Waqf bill in 1995 and 2013.
