Guwahati, April 25 -- AIUDF MLA and General Secretary Rafiqul Islam condemned party MLA Aminul Islam's statement on the Pahalgam terror attack and stated that it was his personal statement, further stating that such statements should not be made at such a time.

Speaking to ANI, the MLA said, "It was his personal statement and such statements should not be made at this time..."

The Nagaon police in Assam had arrested MLA Aminul Islam for his "derogatory remarks" about the Pahalgam terror attack.
