New Delhi, June 4 -- After concluding a five-nation visit as part of an all-party delegation, Communist Party of India (Marxist) MP, John Brittas urged the government to now convene Parliament and inform the public and the international community about India's position.
Speaking to ANI upon his return, Brittas said, "Now, since the opposition members who are part of the outreach delegations have fulfilled their obligations and duties, it is for the government to fulfil its duty, convene the parliament, and inform the people and the world community."
Brittas said that the delegation received a "mixed response" during their tour, which aimed to address international concerns and perceptions about India's current situation with Pakistan.
