Patna, July 5 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha on Saturday said that "irresponsible" officials who failed to take "swift" action will be held accountable following the murder of the businessman Gopal Khemka in Patna.
Sinha also took a dig at Rashtriya Janata Dal and said that the State government is keeping an eye on those officials who have been "nurtured" under the "Jungle Raj".
"We have our eyes on the officials who were nurtured during that 'jungle raj'. Those irresponsible officials who haven't taken strict and swift action will be held accountable," the Deputy CM told reporters.
He also assured that compensation would be provided to the family of the victim and that strict law and enforcement action would be taken.
