New Delhi, July 31 -- Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav on Thursday said that India will have to "rethink anew" (its bilateral relationship with the US) after President Donald Trump announced 25 per cent tariffs on India. Trump also said India will face additional penalties for purchasing oil from Russia.

Speaking with ANI, Ram Gopal Yadav said, "A few days ago, during a press conference, when a journalist asked Trump about PM Modi. He said, "Modi is my friend, but I love Pakistan"... Trump's behaviour towards other countries around the world is as if he were the 'Raja' and others were his 'praja'. No major or powerful country has ever treated other nations this way. India will have to rethink anew."
