Lucknow, Sept. 29 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, addressing an event on Monday, stressed the importance of collective resolve and national unity for India's development.

"India will develop only when every Indian has the resolve for development in his heart... We have respect for all the great men, Gods, Goddesses and freedom fighters of India... Prime Minister Modi had said that we have to abandon the mentality of slavery... The feeling of unity should be in the heart of every Indian," he said.

The Chief Minister conveyed this message during his engagement with participants from the states of Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha as part of the 17th Tribal Youth Exchange Programme.
