Washington DC, Feb. 14 -- Following the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri highlighted discussions on illegal immigration, strategic cooperation, and economic engagement between India and the United States.
Addressing a press briefing on Thursday (local time), Misri said that both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to streamlining legal mobility avenues for students, professionals, and short-term visitors, while also agreeing to "aggressively" address illegal immigration and human trafficking.
