Patna, Sept. 12 -- Following Tamil Nadu Minister Durai Murugan remarks "Tamil Nadu is not Bihar" on proposition of Special Intensive Revision (SIR), JDU national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad on Friday said that SIR is a constitutionally mandated process and leaders should refrain from making inciting statements.

Speaking to ANI, Prasad further asserted that the Supreme Court has also accepted that SIR process comes under the purview of Election Commission of India.
