Chennai, Feb. 12 -- Tamil Nadu BJP State President K Annamalai on Wednesday launched a veiled attack on Chief Minister MK Stalin, stating how the latter will know the pain of the common person if he travels in a luxury car. His response came days after Stalin accused the Central government of withholding funds from Tamil Nadu.

"Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has criticized Union Budget 2025. If you travel in a luxury car, then how will you (MK Stalin) know the pain of the common public? Have you ever got a milk packet from a shop?...BJP meetings are different from DMK meetings; we don't bring people by providing money," Annamalia told reporters here.
