New Delhi, May 13 -- Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address on 'Operation Sindoor' at Adampur Air Base, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi echoed the government's firm stance on national security and counter-terrorism, asserting that terrorist will not be allowed to "use Islam" as their shield against terrorism.
Speaking with ANI, Naqvi, a former Union Minister for Minority Affairs commended PM Modi for reaffirming India's zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism.
"PM Narendra Modi gave a loud and clear message about the safety of the nation and elimination of enemies (terrorists)...If they think they will use Islam to safeguard terrorism, then they are highly mistaken...The whole world is standing against terrorism," he said.
