New Delhi, July 24 -- Purnea MP Pappu Yadav on Thursday criticised the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar, alleging that the Election Commission is acting in a biased manner and siding with the BJP.
Speaking to ANI, Yadav asserted that if no action is taken on the exercise in Bihar, then they all should resign from the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha and let the government run the House on its own.
"When something happens beyond the Constitution, then Parliament has the right to amend it, discuss it, and interfere in it. If the Election Commission becomes unbridled, then the Supreme Court will also intervene... When they realised they were not going to win the elections, they took SIR as an excuse... EC is speaking BJP's langu...
