Lucknow, May 7 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad Ansari on Wednesday thanked the Indian Army and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for conducting Operation Sindoor that struck terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistan.

"On behalf of the country, I thank the Indian Army and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving a strong response to the cowardly terrorist act that took place in Pahalgam," Ansari told ANI.

"India has shown that if anyone conspires against India, it will waste no time in giving a befitting response," he added.
