Washington DC, Feb. 22 -- Singer-drummer Phil Collins of the rock band Genesis admitted that he won't be returning to the drum kit as he is very sick and has lost interest in creating new music, reported Variety.

It's been established for years that Phil Collins won't be returning to the drum kit after he spent the final Genesis tour several years ago singing from a seated position while his son handled the percussion duties.

Now, shedding light on his present physical condition and future plans for his return, the singer said he has no inclination to return to a recording studio in any capacity due to physical limitations that have taken away his desire to create new music.
