Patna, Nov. 27 -- Popular singer and Bharitya Janata Party (BJP) MLA-elect, Maithili Thakur, on Thursday said that she is yet to take the oath but has started working after winning from Alinagar Assembly constituency in the Bihar Elections 2025.

"I have not taken the oath yet, but I have already started working... The public chooses their MLA with great hope, and now I have to live up to that hope... " she said.

While speaking on the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR), she said that she is focused on taking her assembly constituency forward.

"I do not want to say anything about the opposition... My job is to work, to take my assembly constituency forward..." she said.
