Washington, April 12 -- Kanye West has apologised to Jay-Z for his controversial remarks about the rapper's children.

The apology comes after a series of X posts that offended many, including the Carter family.

As per E! News, West took to his social media to express regret for a previous tweet in which he questioned the mental capacity of Jay-Z and Beyonce's young children, Rumi and Sir Carter, aged 7.

The apology was notably directed at his longtime friend and collaborator, Jay-Z.
