New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- Chairman of Congress' Media and Publicity Department, Pawan Khera, on Saturday called the framework of the India-US trade deal a "humiliating failure", alleging that under pressure, India has decided to open up the agricultural market and halt the import of Russian oil.

While the India-US joint statement mentioned USD 500 billion in imports for India, Khera raised concern over the expected widening of the trade deficit.
