Mumbai, March 2 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday took a dig at the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) ahead of the Budget Session, which is set to begin on Monday, March 3.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who also holds the Finance and Planning portfolio, will present the state budget on March 10.
At a joint press conference with his deputies, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, CM Fadnavis pointed out that the MVA had submitted a nine-page letter to the government but skipped the customary pre-session meeting over snacks.
He assured that the Opposition would be given sufficient time to speak in the House during the session.
