New Delhi, July 18 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday defended his brother-in-law Robert Vadra, and said he has been "hounded by this government for the last ten years" following the Enforcement Directorate's attachment of 43 properties worth Rs 37.64 crore linked to Vadra.

Gandhi called the action a continuation of a "witch hunt" by the government and said he stands with Robert, Priyanka Gandhi, and their children against what he called "malicious, politically motivated harassment."

He expressed confidence that the truth will eventually come out.
