New Delhi, March 15 -- Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Saturday condemned the attack inside the Golden Temple premises and hoped that the Punjab government will take action against the people involved in the incident.
"Golden Temple is a very holy place and people from all religions offer prayers here...The incident is condemnable...I am hopeful that the Punjab government will do an investigation and take action against the people involved in the incident," Sirsa told ANI.
Five people were injured in an attack inside the Golden Temple premises on Friday, with a Golden Temple attendant and a devotee in critical condition, according to Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) (Sarai) manager, Gurpreet Singh.
