Ayodhya, May 17 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Awadhesh Prasad on Saturday expressed his displeasure over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) not removing Madhya Pradesh Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah from his post following his controversial remarks about Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, who was one of the two women officers who briefed the media initially about Operation Sindoor along with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. He strongly criticised Shah's statement, stating nothing could have been more insulting than calling Colonel Qureshi the "sister of terrorists."
