Kolkata, Feb. 22 -- BJP leader Locket Chatterjee highlighted the party's growing momentum by pointing to its recent victories in Delhi, Maharashtra, and Haryana and expressed hope that the BJP will gain victory in 2026 elections in West Bengal.

"There is an organisational election in BJP, and different meetings are being held in different states. BJP won in Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana and other states, and therefore, people have a different enthusiasm with regard to BJP, and we hope it will win in West Bengal as well in the 2026 elections," said Chatterjee.

The assembly polls in West Bengal are due next year and are expected to be held in March-April 2026 to elect all 294 West Bengal Legislative Assembly members.
