Sambhal, March 14 -- Holi celebrations in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal concluded peacefully, with both festival processions and prayers taking place without any incidents, the circle officer Anuj Chaudhary said on Friday.

In Sambhal, Circle Officer (CO) Chaudhary said that people participated in the festival in harmony.

"All have celebrated Holi with love. Now, people are going to offer Namaz, and it will also be done peacefully. The Holi procession was huge, with almost 3000 people taking part, but everything has happened peacefully," he said.

Friday prayers were also performed peacefully at the Shahi Jama Masjid here on the occasion of the second Jumma of the holy Ramzan month.
