New Delhi, July 19 -- After Beijing condemned the ghastly Pahalgam terror attack, West Asia expert Waiel Awwad on Saturday said that it was crucial that China recognises the danger of terrorism in neighbouring countries, since it is only through collective measures that the fight against terrorism can be fought.

Welcoming China's move to condemn the terrorist attack, Awwad pointed out to the possibility of China, Russia and India coming together to combat terrorism in this part of the world. He said that the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) had already issued a statement against terrorism, hinting towards collective action.
