New Delhi, March 29 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Satish Poonia condemned the vandalism of the Veer Tejaji Maharaj statue in Jaipur, calling it a "heinous act," and urged the police to take prompt legal action against those involved.
In a post on X, Poonia wrote, "In Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, miscreants have committed the heinous act of vandalising the statue of Veer Tejaji Maharaj; I urge the police administration to take prompt legal action against such miscreants who are playing with public faith."
Meanwhile, a wave of unrest swept through Jaipur's Pratap Nagar area after a statue of Veer Tejaji Maharaj, a revered folk deity in Rajasthan, was allegedly vandalised by unidentified miscreants late Friday night.
