Mumbai, April 4 -- Veteran actor Prem Chopra is among many other dignitaries from the Indian film industry who arrived at legendary Manoj Kumar's residence to pay respect to the late actor.

Hours after the demise of Manoj Kumar on Friday, Prem Chopra was spotted at the former's residence. Speaking to the media, Chopra felt that Manoj Kumar deserved to be honoured with Bharat Ratna, the country's highest civilian award.

" Usko government ne pura diya nahin. They should have given him Bharat Ratna. He has done so much for the country...There was always a great message in every film that glorified India," Chopra said.

Chopra worked with Manoj Kumar in several films, such as Shaheed (1965), Upkar (1967), and Mera Saaya (1966).
