New Delhi, Feb. 14 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Friday welcomed the US decision to extradite 26/11 Mumbai accused Tahawwur Rana to India and said that he should get most stringent punishment.

US President Donald Trump on Thursday confirmed that the accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks of 2008, Tahawwur Rana, will be extradited back to India. The approval came amid Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Washington visit.

Speaking to ANI Chaturvedi said, "I welcome this. He should get the most stringent punishment, which sets an example and prevents people from acting against our nation."
