Patna, Jan. 25 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari on Sunday welcomed the elavation of Tejashwi Yadav as the party's national working president, addressing the latter as a person who ""reigns over the hearts of the youth, labourers, and farmers."

Yadav was appointed as the party's national working president after RJD's national executive committee meeting in Patna which was attended by his parents Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi and his eldest sister Misa Bharti, a Lok Sabha MP from Patliputra in Patna.

Speaking on the development, Tiwari said Tejashwi Yadav commands strong support across the country, especially among youth, labourers and farmers.
