Jammu, April 6 -- Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Jammu and Kashmir, assembly Sunil Sharma, said Sunday that Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to the Union territory is aimed at reviewing security situations and developmental projects.

Earlier speaking to ANI on Sunday, Sharma said, "He (Amit Shah) visits each year since the Home Ministry is responsible for the security of the Union Territory... He conducts routine meetings... Recent incidents in Jammu and Kashmir will be seriously discussed. Today at 6 PM (Sunday), the party's activities and performance will be discussed... Tomorrow is a routine security meeting and then a review of Kashmir's developmental projects."
