New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- Assam Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Himanta Biswa Sarma hit out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday, for his alleged involvement in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy scam, urging the voters to cast their votes accordingly to "free Delhi from Arvind Kejriwal."

Addressing a rally at Adarsh Nagar Assembly constituency, Sarma said, "We have to free Delhi. We have to free Delhi from people like Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Satyendra Jain and form a double-engine government in Delhi."

Further taking a jibe at various AAP leaders, he said that he never has seen anyone else as shameless as the AAP chief.
