Dhubri, June 13 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday issued "shoot at sight" orders to law enforcement officials, claiming that a communal group became active in the state's Dhubri district.
CM Sarma alleged that the communal group intends to cause damage to temples.
"A particular group has become active in Dhubri with the intention of damaging our temples. We have issued SHOOT AT SIGHT orders," CM Sarma wrote in a post on X.

This came after CM Sarma's visit to Dhubri.
