New Delhi, April 27 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Satish Upadhyay on Sunday assured that the central government would "avenge" the deadly Pahalgam terrorist attack that killed 26 people, mostly tourists, and left many injured.

He said that the country has faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The government would avenge every single bullet that hit the victim.

"The 1.4 billion people of our country have faith in PM Narendra Modi. Our government will undoubtedly avenge every single drop of tears and every single bullet that hit the victims (of the Pahalgam terrorist attack)," Upadhyay told ANI.
