Lucknow, Sept. 15 -- Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday said that the government should not interfere in Waqf, after the Supreme Court refused to stay the entire law but put on hold certain provisions of it.
Yadav added that he hopes the court will ensure full justice in the case.
Speaking at the press conference, Akhilesh Yadav said, "Our opinion was that the government should not interfere in Waqf. We hope the Supreme Court will do further justice."
