Dehradun, Jan. 4 -- Uttarakhand Minister Subodh Uniyal on Sunday said that the government is dealing with the 2022 Ankita Bhandari murder case "very seriously and sensitively."

"The government is very sensitive and serious about this matter... It is only because of the government's efforts, the formation of the SIT, and the investigation that the murderers have been punished. Now, after an audio clip has surfaced, it seems that some people, perhaps as part of a political conspiracy, want to spoil the atmosphere in the state... This is an attempt to mislead the investigation, and there is talk of a CBI probe," Uniyal told ANI.
