Nagpur, May 18 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to free the country from the diseases of sickle cell and thalassemia and assured that quality treatment facilities will be made available in government hospitals.

"PM Modi has taken steps to free the country from sickle cell and thalassemia. All efforts will be made to create quality treatment facilities in government colleges here to free patients from this deadly disease," Fadnavis said in Nagpur.
