New Delhi, July 21 -- As the Monsoon Session of Parliament begins today, Congress MP Jebi Mather has criticised the central government for allegedly sidestepping pressing national concerns.

She accused the government of diverting attention from relevant topics and urged it to prioritise meaningful discussions on matters of national importance.

While speaking to ANI, Mather said, "At the time when our country was facing a dangerous phase (Pahalgam terror attack), the INDIA alliance had asked for a special session of Parliament to know the real status, but till now there are no answers to many questions...There are multiple issues for which the government should provide answers...but the government deviates from what is relevant and more ...
