Kolkata, Aug. 9 -- Following West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose asking for a report from the state government on the attack on West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari's convoy, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh claimed that the attack was reaction due to people's anger over atrocities being committed on the Bengali-speaking Indians in the BJP-ruled states and the Governor should know the cause.
Ghosh stated, "The Governor should know that the Bengali language is being attacked and insulted, atrocities are being committed on the Bengali-speaking Indians in the BJP-ruled states. People are annoyed. The governor is asking for a report on the reaction, but he should know the cause."
