New Delhi, March 11 -- Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Tuesday said that RJD leaders Tej Pratap Yadav, Hema Yadav and others accused in the Land for Jobs scam case got bail under the law, adding that there is the rule of law and the government is not involved in the matter.
"The case was filed against them under the law, and they got bail under the law. Where is the government involved in this? There is a rule of law," Singh told ANI.
Earlier, the Rouse Avenue court granted bail to Tej Pratap Yadav, Hema Yadav and other accused persons in the Land for Job scam case.
They appeared before the court pursuant to a summons issued to them. Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti moved an exemption application.
