New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- Bharatiya Janata Party MP Aparajita Sarangi on Tuesday expressed optimism for Nitin Nabin's upcoming leadership, as he is set to assume charge as the party's National President later in the day.

Speaking to ANI, Sarangi said that Nabin has a long time ahead of him, which she believes will be utilised wisely.

"Nitin Nabin is 45 years old. He has a long time ahead of him. We are all very positive. Good work will undoubtedly be done," she said. Earlier this morning, Nabin offered prayers at Jhandewalan Temple and later at Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place.

Meanwhile, several leaders and Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states arrived at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday.
