Washington DC, Jan. 23 -- Actor Stellan Skarsgard is in disbelief after his Norwegian film 'Sentimental Value' received record-breaking nine nominations in the upcoming Academy Awards, including his nomination for the best actor.
In an interview with Variety, Stellan called it a "fantastic" feeling after his low-budget movie secured nominations in Oscars 2026.
"Nine nominations! No Scandinavian has ever been close to it. It's fantastic. This film needs all the publicity it can get. It's a small film and doesn't have enough money for billboards," said Stellan Skarsgard as quoted by Variety.
