Varanasi, May 9 -- As tensions escalate between India and Pakistan after both sides engage in retaliations, defence expert Sanjeev Srivastava on Friday warned of a "full-fledged war" if Pakistan continues to escalate the situation. He said that a war would prove fatal to Pakistan and may lead to its disintegration.

"If Pakistan further escalates the situation, it could turn into a full-fledged war. This will prove to be highly fatal to Pakistan and may even lead to its disintegration. These audacious activities of Pakistan against India can destroy Pakistan's very existence. The leaders of Pakistan should understand this. India is responding in a limited way as of now," Srivastava told ANI.
