New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday stressed that the government is taking strong steps to control flooding and air pollution in the city.
The chief minister said drainage systems across the city have been cleaned, reducing waterlogging during rains, adding that the current flooding is limited to the Yamuna floodplain areas due to timely preparations.
Speaking at Aadhar Infra Confluence 2025, Rekha Gupta said, "We are working on all points where, during heavy rains, waterlogging is a big problem. We have done some work on all these points.
