New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- Advocate Ashwini Upadhyay on Monday informed that he has filed an application requesting the implementation of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) across the country, following the Supreme Court's direction that the Aadhaar card be treated as the 12th valid identity document.
The advocate informed that the Supreme Court had issued a notice to the Election Commission and scheduled the matter for further hearing on September 15. He expressed hope that the poll panel would act before the next hearing.
