Patna, July 5 -- Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Saturday raised concerns over the rising crime incidents in Bihar following the murder of businessman Gopal Khemka.

Speaking to the media, Kishor termed the murder of businessman Khemka "saddening".

"The death of businessman Gopal Khemka is very saddening. He is a big name, so it got government attention, but several who are poor are being murdered every day here. Extortion, murder, and incidents of loot are common in Bihar every day...Five girls have been raped in the last one month. No one is concerned about Bihar. The people of Bihar are dying, and these people are busy fooling the public," Prashant Kishor said.
